The project aimed to improve the performance, coverage, and efficiency of the city’s public transportation system through a comprehensive review and redesign of the existing network. The scope included planning and optimization of LRT, BRT, and bus lines, travel matrix estimation, timetable-based assignment, and public transport modeling using PTV-VISUM. The study evaluated the redesigned network’s performance and provided practical recommendations to enhance connectivity, accessibility, service quality, passenger demand coverage, and sustainable urban mobility.
