The study aimed to evaluate existing hydrological and hydraulic conditions, identify potential flood risks affecting the site, and provide practical engineering recommendations to support safe development planning and authority approval. The assessment included catchment delineation, rainfall-runoff analysis, review of nearby wadis and drainage paths, hydraulic modelling of flood behavior, and evaluation of flood depth, velocity, and inundation extent under relevant storm scenarios. The study also considered drainage constraints, site vulnerability, and mitigation requirements to reduce flood exposure and improve resilience of the proposed development.
